Trip Itinerary
8:00 AM - Meet up at Hotel / Meeting Point
Your tour will commence as we meet and greet you from hotel lobby and depart for a 45mins drive to old gold mining town of Bau.
9:00 AM - Safety Briefing, Dos & Don’ts And Assigning You A Bicycle
This circuit consists of off-road trail and small village road.
The ride starts from the beautiful goldmine lake to hidden trails to discover spectacular rock formations and colorful mineral-enriched lakes. As you ride further into the countryside, enjoy the view of the spectacular limestone karst landscape. We will cycle through local villages which are home to the Bidayuh tribal people before heading for final section of the the beautiful countryside of Bau through the off-road trail.
12:00 PM - Lunch
After lunch, take another transfer to the starting point of the kayaking adventure. During the journey, you will be rewarded with picturesque backdrop of mountain and lush greeneries surrounding the area.
1:30 PM - Safety Briefing, And Meet the Kayaking Crew
Arrive at Semadang River in Danu area where you will be given a safety briefing by our professional river guide. Proceed for moderately adventurous and relaxing river kayaking within the stretch of 6km river while enjoying the beauty of nature. Duration of kayaking may vary between 1.5 hours – 2.0 hours depending on the water level. You will be making stop for swimming and body rafting.
3:30 PM - Kayaking Base Camp
Arrive at the end point, freshen up yourself. Shower facilities are available on site.
4:30 PM - Hotel Transfer. Depart to Kuching
Depart the base camp en-route back to your hotel in Kuching, estimated time of arrival back in Kuching is 5.30pm.

My wife, 14 year old daughter and I took the kayak adventure and had a blast! All the guides were great fun but completely professional. The tour included a fantastic lunch and a file of photos. Kayaking was not too strenuous but a few choppy stretches made for a bit of excitement. We didn't see much wildlife but the scenery was absolutely stunning.A 'must do' while in Kuching. We had two fantastic guides- Max & David who were lovely and funny. The kayak was 10km with beautiful scenery so quiet and relaxing just the sounds of the rainforest around you. On arrival back to camp we were served a delicious lunch then dropped back to our hotel. The hardest part of the day was putting the kayak in and out of the water! Would highly recommend these guys!

We booked as a group of 4 and all agreed one of our favourite days in Kuching. Our two guides Martin and Pai were super friendly and had a good sense of humour. They pointed out interesting things along the way and took some great photos of our day. We even had a little swim (float) down the river. The lunch provided at the end was really tasty. Would definitely recommend this trip!
