Semenggoh Orang Utan
The orangutans are the two exclusively Asian species of extant great apes. Native to Indonesia and Malaysia, orangutans are currently found in only the rainforest of Borneo and Sumatra Indonesia. Scientific name for orangutan is Pongo. Their higher classification are Homidae, while their lower classification are Sumatran orangutan, and Borneo orangutan. The Bornean orangutan, Pongo pygmaeus, is a species of orangutan native to the island of Borneo.
The add-on adventure will start with a visit to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre to see the orangutan which their feeding time is at 0900 am. Then proceed to Kampung Bengoh for kayaking and bamboo rafting adventure.
